Membership

We invite you to become a member of Texas Rail Advocates. Join with us! There is no fee to join, but we encourage a donation if you are able. To join, simply send an email to Taylor Sharpe (TaylorTexasRailAdvocates.org) providing your name, address, phone number and preferred email.

• Membership in Texas Rail Advocates means:
• You are on our “active” email list for newsletters, periodic updates and special “alert” bulletins as warranted
• Advance “pre-public release” information on Texas Rail Advocates conferences, events and meetings
• You may take an active part as a TRA “liaison” representative in your city, town, county or region
• You have access to the TRA staff and board for questions and advice on transportation advocacy issues
• Access to a “members only” section on the website

TRA is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Yearly Membership Levels for contributors:

• Trackside level (Senior, student, disabled) $10.00
• Flagman level (Individual) $ 15.00
• Brakeman level (Donor) $30.00
• Conductor level (Sponsor) $75.00
• Engineer level (Sustaining) $125.00
• Railroad Mogul $500 and up

TRA’s operating budget comes primarily from membership dues, conference fees and sponsorships.

We welcome inquiries on grants, donations and contributions to the cause of building a better rail transportation system in Texas and the Southwest.
